Travel from Zhangjiajie or Wulingyuan toward Fenghuang, check into a suitable old town or nearby hotel area, and take an evening walk along the Tuojiang River when the lights and riverside bridges are at their most atmospheric.
Option 2
Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town or deeper Xiangxi culture
Add Hongjiang for travelers interested in old merchant streets, guild-hall atmosphere, and a quieter cultural stop beyond the standard Zhangjiajie route. The day can also be adjusted for travelers who prefer slower photography or local food time.

Departure, high-speed rail, or airport connection
